What is sustainable wood?
We have worked extremely hard to ensure our wood is sourced from local mills that only supply wood from sustainable farming. We are very proud of this fact and you can feel good about the fact that every time you make a purchase with us you are supporting local wood farms that ensure they are planting more trees than they are cutting down annually!
Who are the designers?
Jules Seaman
Originally from Newfoundland, Marcus fell in love and relocated to British Columbia in 2009. His success as a designer and artist is because much of his work is self-initiated, he creates for himself first and views it as a means of showing all his gratitude for the positives in his life. His love for British Columbia has led most of his work to focus on this beautiful province.
Petra Bachron came to Canada with her husband in 2017 from the Czech Republic. They only planned to stay only a year but after falling in love with Canada's natural beauty, they decided to stay a bit longer! Apart from travelling and exploring new places Petra loves to camp, hike and illustrate. Mountain Mornings is the design business was inspired by her need to create and share her illustrations with like-minded people. She aspires to to build the brand in hopes to connect people with nature and to wake their desire to explore and protect our shared planet.
